Honeywell Searchpoint Optima Plus is designed for potentially explosive environmentsPoint-type infrared hydrocarbon detector, suitable for offshore oil and gas platforms, FPSOs, tankers, onshore terminals, refineries, LNG/LPG tanking, compressed gas metering stations, gas turbine power plants, as well as solvent printing and painting sites. The infrared principle responds quickly, is fault-safe, and is not affected by catalytic combustion poisoning. It can operate in an oxygen-free atmosphere, significantly reducing daily maintenance costs.
