It consists of two fixed resistors forming the Wheatstone inspection bridge circuit. When the flammable gas mixture diffuses onto the detection element, flameless combustion is rapidly carried out, generating reactive heat and increasing the resistance of the hot wire. The bridge outputs a variable voltage signal whose magnitude is proportional to the concentration of the combustible gas. Its advantages are: good selectivity, accurate response, good stability, quantitative detection, low risk of false alarms, reliable control, and a lifespan of about three years. It is mainly used for detecting flammable gases. Currently, the vast majority of combustible gas detection sensors internationally use this type of sensor.Note: The feasibility of catalytic combustion GQB-X Sm Art sensor detection is conditional; it is necessary to ensure that the detection environment contains sufficient oxygen. In oxygen-free environments, this detection method may not be able to detect any flammable gases.
Note: Certain lead-containing compounds (especially tetraethyl lead), sulfur compounds, silicons, phosphorus compounds, hydrogen sulfide, and halogenated hydrocarbons may cause sensor poisoning or suppression. If the tested environment contains the appealing substance, the GQB-X Sm Art Sensor-type sensor with the appeal substance should be specified in the contract or selected.
