Emerson Process Management acquired Groveley Testing, a developer of ultrasonic gas leak detection solutions for offshore and onshore oil and gas facilities, headquartered in the UK.
Groveley will join Emerson's Rosemount Analytical business unit, expanding Emerson's security monitoring portfolio. With the completion of the acquisition, Emerson joins Groveley's ultrasonic gas leak detection technology, complementing its network security stationary gas detection and flame detection product lines, significantly strengthening its position in the global security monitoring market. In addition to several industrial plant sites, Groveley's products are widely used in energy extraction and processing applications.
