Product details

Honeywell XP Tox is an explosion-proof gas monitor for continuous monitoring of toxic gases and oxygen in ambient air. This transmitter converts the output from electrochemical sensors into a 4-20 mA analog signal or HART®, RS 485 digital signal output. The device can be calibrated by a single person and offers multiple diagnostic and self-test functions.

The Dräger Polytron 2 XP TOX toxic gas detector requires only one person for calibration and features various diagnostic programs and self-test functions. Transmitter configuration and calibration can be done through the menu, allowing users to easily and easily complete configuration and calibration via the infrared remote control, built-in buttons, or HART handheld terminal. Based on the internal configuration of the transmitter, the Polytron 2 XP TOX comes in two models: with and without relays. The Polytron 2 XP TOX with a relay inside the transmitter can be used as a standalone gas detector.

Easy Installation
The Dräger Polytron 2 XP TOX housing has two mounting holes. For convenient wiring, the circuit board is integrated and can be lifted out with a handle. The three-core cable connects to plug-in terminals on the printed circuit board through a sealed conduit.
Single-person Calibration
All setup and maintenance work does not require opening the transmitter housing or lowering the hazardous area level. Using the infrared remote, the menu can be accessed and calibration completed through the window. The menu can also be accessed using built-in keys or a handheld HART terminal. All menu items and information are displayed in simple English. Other optional languages include French, Spanish, and German.
Draeger Sensor Technology
High sensitivity, long-term stability, and no false alarms are the advantages of the new third-generation sensors. The sensor is the core of the gas detection system. The system's reliability and operating cost are determined by the speed of response to target gases, interference from other gases or environmental gases (without false alarms), and the sensor's lifespan.
Independent Monitoring System
The Dräger Polytron 2 XP Tox has three built-in relays and can serve as an independent gas monitoring unit. The two adjustable alarm levels and one fault alarm function make it easy to change the alarm device on-site without repeatedly modifying the connection to the central controller. Sensor signals can also be output via 4 to 20 mA, HART®, or RS 485 signals.
