Product details
The T40 detector is a low-cost, maintenance-free single-gas monitor designed by the well-known American gas detection instrument manufacturer, MSA. It is used to protect personnel from harm caused by hydrogen sulfide or carbon monoxide in extreme environments. Although small in size, the T40 has functions typically found only in large multi-gas detectors, including a large LCD screen, an internal vibration alarm, audible/visual alarm devices, and simple button operation. The T40 single-gas detector is mainly used to protect personnel's life safety by detecting the concentration of hazardous gases such as hydrogen sulfide or carbon monoxide in extreme environments.
- The T40 detector features a sturdy engineering plastic housing and a well-designed protective structure, making it suitable for use in variable and extreme climate environments such as deserts or the Arctic Circle. The instrument is compact and lightweight, allowing it to be easily clipped onto a belt, shirt pocket, or safety helmet. The extra-large LCD screen clearly displays gas concentrations, types, peak values, and high and low concentration alarm levels. If the current gas concentration exceeds the preset high or low limits, the device alerts the user with audible, visual, and vibration alarms.
- The T40 detector's peak hold function can promptly capture and record the maximum reading detected from the first power-on. The unique and simple flip-cover operation allows for gas calibration, and this design has obtained a U.S. patent.
